In some cultures, parents have traditionally arranged marriages for children. In Scotland, it’s against the law for anyone to be married against their will.  If you or someone you know is worried about being forced into a marriage they don’t want, or suspects they are being taken abroad for that purpose, help on forced marriage is available.
