A Visual Diary

Susan McMillan trained in Glasgow, graduating with a degree in Contemporary Art Practice in 2015. Since her degree she has contributed in a number of collaborative exhibitions whilst also exhibiting on her own in local areas of interest.

Her work has been varied but since qualifying she has concentrated more on her painting. Sketches and photographic images are her main starting point however she believes that her aim is not to replicate but to bring a more painterly and imaginative feel to her work. Susan works mainly in acrylics, mixed media and watercolour. Her current exhibition will showcase some of her newer works which are much more impressionistic as well as retrospective works.
