Development/community projects
South Lanarkshire Museum Service has developed a wide range of exciting projects and initiatives within the service itself and in the wider community of South Lanarkshire.
These projects range from improvements to our own service, to community-based projects which allow us to offer opportunities to members of the local community to learn more about their heritage and get more involved in how it is preserved and displayed.
We ourselves develop and lead many of these projects, which often very successfully attract external funding due to their innovative and participative approach. We are also committed to working in partnership with our colleagues in other services and organisations in order to gain benefits from a wide range of skills and experience.
