Council tax
Your council tax is based on the value (band) of the property you live in. It is set by the Lanarkshire Valuation Joint Board and the number of adult residents.
Your council tax helps us pay for local services like parks and rubbish collection. Council tax applies to all domestic properties, whether owned or rented. You may be able to apply for an exemption or discount, depending on your circumstances.
