ConclusionThe purpose of the Clyde Valley Learning and Development project is to promote and develop best practice and to identify savings through a shared approach. The aim is to modernise working practice, to improve efficiency and effectiveness and share this with all Scottish local authorities. The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. The need to monitor the project has been identified and this will be carried out on an annual basis to ensure that future practice is properly informed.
