Aims and ObjectivesOne of the 7 core policies for Education Resources. The policy statement has been produced to ensure that in Education Resources there are clearly defined approaches for communication and consultation in all establishments and services.


ConclusionThe conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations. This impact assessment has been conducted to ensure that the Communication and Consultation Policy Statement, when put into practice, does not adversely impact on the equality and human rights of stakeholders. The aim of the Policy Statement is to ensure that effective and consultative mechanisms are in place to help all establishments and services provide the best quality outcomes possible for children, young people, parents/carers, other adults and local communities.
