| Description | Within Old St. Luke’s, only a small part of the 14th century church and bell tower dated 1715 remain. The extension was opened in1886. Lairs can only be purchased at the time of burial however previously purchased lairs will continue to be opened according to family requests. Cremated remains may also be scattered or interred. Records date back to 1885 and a map of lair owners is also available via the local Historical Society at http://www.lanarkshirefhs.org.uk/. |
