| Description | Carluke library is part of the South Lanarkshire Lifestyles facility which includes a community centre. Access is from John Street currently until the car park is complete, then Carnwath Road. Public library with adult fiction and non-fiction books, photocopier, music CDs, newspapers, children's library and children's events. The library also has an activeIT learning centre with 11 PCs for public use. ActiveIT also offers free email and Internet access and a range of training materials. |
| Bookbug sessions | Mondays from 11.30 – 12.00 and 2-2.30pm and are open to children aged 0-3 years. The Bookbug Reading Challenge also runs for children 0-5 yrs throughout the school summer holidays. |
