| Aims and Objectives | The policy facilitates the transfer of unpromoted teaching staff from one school to another at a time when the school roll has fallen. Teaching staff are appointed to work for the Council and not individual schools. |
| Conclusion | The conclusion of this initial equality impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the workforce covered by equalities legislation, or on workforce relations. It is considered that the policy is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim. For all staff involved support is provided to ensure that relocation takes full consideration of individuals personal circumstances and where appropriate puts in place required reasonable adjustments. |
