| Description of service | Community flats are a one-stop-shop that provide rural areas in South Lanarkshire with access to all housing services, including computer links to the main housing office in your area. The following surgeries are currently running at the flat. Frist Monday of every month – Councillor McInnes 5pm – 6pm Housing Officer Thursdays 9.30am - 11.30am, first Thursday every month Princess Royal Trust for Carers 10am - 12noon, Councillor Manson every Thursday between 11am and 11.30am. Karen Gillon, MSP also holds surgeries at the Community Flat, please telephone for dates and times. The following organisations also use the flat: Womens Aid, Advocacy Project, Up for it Campaign, smoking cessation, energy advice, Consumer and Trading Standards. We also recycle spectacles, printer cartridges, mobile phones. We also supply wool to local knitters who knit trauma teds, jumpers, scarves, blankets etc for third world countries. |
