The Licensing and Registration Office services provide a range of public services. The Licensing service deals with a range of civic licences from taxis and private hire cars to street traders and drinks licensing. The Registration Office undertakes a statutory function on behalf of the Registrar General for Scotland, recording registration information for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships as well as additional services such as the administration of the school attendance council, school work permits and the Education Appeals Committee.

Additional informationThe newly refurbished Town House is the perfect location for a civil marriage with a choice of two well appointed ceremony rooms. Ceremonies for groups from four to 80 can be accommodated in this magnificent setting.
Disabled accessAccess to office is via main building reception which has automatic doors. Car parking and toilets for disabled users available at this location. Lifts to marriage rooms which are located on 1st floor. Induction loop system available by arrangement.
