Description of serviceQ and A is the Council’s one-stop-shop, providing frontline service on behalf of all of our Resources. Enquiries are dealt with by a specially trained team of Customer Services Assistants who ensure members of the public receive the service or information they require.
East Kilbride Q and A office provides customers with several options for dealing with Council enquiries:
• free phones – free contact to Council services
• self service – access to a selection of forms and leaflets
• online – access to the Council’s website
• face-to-face – assistance with enquiries where necessary
Facilities available include: baby change, language line, hearing loop, BSL trained assistant, local parking information, private interview rooms and meeting rooms.

Additional informationA customer service assistant will be available at the reception desk on Wednesday from 8.45am to assist with emergencies and appointments with other Council services.
Disabled accessLevel access at front, nine parking bays for disabled people (nine spaces outside Q and A entrance – two designated bays, seven additional spaces with a single yellow line which is signposted for dropping off or picking up of goods/taxi). These spaces can be used by blue badge holders as long as they display their badge. On the opposite side of road to Q and A entrance there is one designated bay with two additional spaces on the single yellow line. Cornwall Street next to the Post Office has a drop off/collection point for Dial A Bus users and for organisations who have a blue badge for their residents/service users. Automatic door entrance, toilet facilities for disabled people, accessible reception, lift.
