|Description of service||Our modernised Lanark Q and A facility has been designed to provide customers with direct access to Council services, enabling them to complete their business with the council as quickly and easily as possible. Four soundproofed booths provide online access to the council's website which includes information and online forms and free telephone access to council services.
Department of Work and Pensions are co-located with Q and A making it easier for customers to have access to the wide range of help and support that the Council and DWP provide.
A face to face service is provided by a specially trained team of Customer Service Assistants who will answer queries, provide information and support customers in their use of the phone and computer where required. Facilities available include: baby change, language line, hearing loop, BSL (British Sign Language) trained assistant, local parking information.
