Garden waste uplift
We have introduced a new charging policy for special uplifts, however garden waste remains free of charge.
If you have garden waste to get rid of we can collect it if you fill out the online garden uplift request form or contact us at the number below.
We'll tell you which day we will collect the garden waste in your area. You should leave it out before 7am that day. A separate uplift service operates for garden waste to allow us to recycle as much material as possible.
Bag it or tie it in bundles that are no more than six feet long. For safety, items/bags must be able to be lifted shoulder high by one person.
Garden waste must not include rubble or fences - just clippings from grass, hedges and shrubs. If you want to get rid of items that aren't general Household waste please use the waste enquiry form to ask us about them.
