How we deal with anti-social behaviour complaints
We will respond promptly to complaints of neighbour nuisance or anti-social behaviour.
When you complain we will arrange an initial interview within five working days. Serious complaints will be given priority and investigated immediately.
We will investigate each case by speaking to neighbours or witnesses and by contacting other agencies including the police for any information they may have.
We will investigate cases within 15 working days subject to receiving all necessary information from other sources.
Once an investigation is complete we will decide upon the most appropriate course of action and notify you within 20 working days. In some cases the investigation will take longer to close.
We will treat everyone equally and without discrimination. All complaints will be treated in confidence, although if action is required we may not always be able to maintain confidentiality.
Anyone who is subject to action being taken against them for anti-social behaviour will have the right to seek a review of a decision. This can be submitted to any Q and A or Area Housing Office.
