What you can do to help the environment
What you can do to help the environment
Everyone can help look after the environment. The choices you make at home, when travelling, and when buying food or everyday items can cut pollution, protect nature and save you money. You do not need special skills or lots of time. Small changes, made by many people, add up to real progress.
There are simple actions you can take every day. You can waste less food, use less energy and water, reuse and recycle more, travel in cleaner ways, and get involved locally. Doing what you can, when you can, helps create healthier places to live now and in the future.
