There can be many situations people need help and support.

If you need help to care for yourself or a relative, contact your local social work office or request an appointment. There's more information on social work services for adults below.

For more information and support for people with a learning disability visit the NHS's Adult Learning Disability Service website or Better Info Better Lives which contains accessible social care information for people with learning disabilities, their families and people who work with them.
