Sight and hearing loss
If you have sight or hearing loss the Sensory Impairment Team can help assess your situation and help with rehabilitation.
What the team offers
A member of the team will work with you to work out what help or equipment you need. This can include:
- giving you equipment to help you with day-to-day tasks
- help developing skills to let you live independently
- providing mobility training
- supporting you in employment and education
- giving you and your carers advice, support and information on other organisations that can help
- resolving any communication problems you may have
- supporting you if you were recently been registered blind or partially sighted
