Care of gardens scheme
All non-South Lanarkshire Council tenants
If you live in South Lanarkshire and own your home, are a Housing Association tenant or rent your property from a private landlord, there will be a charge for the Care of Gardens Scheme.
The cost for grass cutting and collection (15 cuts a year between March and October), edge strimming as required and the application of weed killer once a year, will be £281.67 (including VAT).
If you also want your hedges cut (if under five feet in height), there will be an additional cost of £79.44 (including VAT) for two cuts a year - and work will be done between May and November.
(If you join the scheme after 19 March 2013, you will be charged proportionately).
If you are on our Care of Gardens Scheme and have received a bill, you will have been provided with several payment options but if you want to pay now, please use our online payments service and choose the 'debtors' option from the list.
If you are not a South Lanarkshire Council tenant and are interested in our Care of Gardens Scheme and accept the charges, please use our online Care of gardens application form to apply for this service or contact our Care of Gardens admin team on the number below.
