Minerals local development plan
The minerals plan aims to limit potentially harmful environmental impacts and, where possible, protect communities from the adverse effects of mineral extraction. In this area it is the quarrying of hard rock, sand and gravel.
After a public review we submitted the version we intend to adopt to the Scottish Ministers Monday 16 April 2012. Please see the adopted plan page.
