Business rates

Business rates, often referred to as Non-domestic rates, are set at national level.

Here's information on the ways to pay.

Some businesses might qualify for non-domestic rates relief because their business is small or they have premises which are unoccupied.

We are responsible for the billing and collection of £260 million of non-domestic rates for over 9,000 business properties in South Lanarkshire.

The Lanarkshire Valuation Joint Board is responsible for the valuation of individual properties for non-domestic rates.
