Lanarkshire Ethnic Minority Action Group

The Lanarkshire Ethnic Minority Action Group, also known as LEMAG, is a forum for discussion, consultation and involvement with minority ethnic communities in shaping the services delivered in the Lanarkshire area.

LEMAG, which is chaired by Alice Yeung, is made up of individuals and community group representatives from across the ethnic minority communities in Lanarkshire.

The aim of the group is to add focus and direction by promoting and supporting local and statutory agencies and communities to work in partnership on the race and equality agenda.

The group would like to promote the health and wellbeing of communities and to help identify short and long term projects that can improve community involvement.

The group meets every month and welcomes new members from ethnic backgrounds at any time.
