Freedom of Information - Scottish Information Commissioner

What if I am not happy with the response I receive to my enquiry?

If you are unhappy with our response to a request for information, you are entitled to ask us to review our decision.

If you are still dissatisfied after the decision has been reviewed by us you can then make an "application for determination" by the Scottish Information Commissioner.

The Commissioner will then investigate the decision and determine whether you should receive the information requested in full or in part. If the Commissioner's decision is not complied with, then he has the power to take action in court.

For more information please go to the Scottish Information Commissioner website.
