Commercial waste, pollution and recycling

We don't collect commercial waste. There are private waste disposal companies who can give you a quote for a regular collection, including:

Refuse, grounds maintenance and street cleansing operate the waste transfer site in Castlehill Industrial Estate, Carluke. Trade users must pre-purchase vouchers to tip in this site.

Vouchers can be purchased at Blantyre Q and A Office and Carluke Q and A Office - see the current prices below. The vouchers can be used in combination dependant on the weight of material being deposited. The minimum charge will be Category 1.

The charges for this service are based on the weight of waste delivered to the site and are as follows for the financial year 2012/13: Category 1 - up to 0.5 tonne - £56.35 inc VAT; Category 2 - up to 1 tonne - £112.70 inc VAT.
