Parks, gardens and open spaces

Our grounds maintenance team is busy all year round working in our beautiful parks and looking after landscaped areas in towns and villages.

Our larger parks at Calderglen, James Hamilton Heritage Centre, Chatelherault, Lanark Loch, Biggar and Strathaven are managed by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's parks and recreation.

 

As well as maintaining play areas, sports pitches and skateparks, we help thousands of older people maintain their gardens and manage two allotment sites where enthusiasts can grow their own vegetables, fruit or flowers.
