Death registration

When someone dies and you need to register their death, contact the Registrars.

You can drop in but it can be helpful to make an appointment where one of our registrars will meet with you in private. 

If you want to arrange a non-religious funeral service, our registrars are also trained to conduct civil funerals.

If you need to contact the registrars in an emergency outwith office hours, for example over a holiday weekend, contact the emergency out-of-hours number on 0800 242024.
