The Almada Suite Conference and Banqueting Suite is perfect for business events and can be set up in a variety of layouts, from a small boardroom for a team meeting to an all-day conference with several break-out rooms.

The Banqueting Hall is the largest of our rooms, and holds up to 263 people depending on your layout and can be used for many purposes from a banquet to an exhibition. Our team will advise you on the best layout for your requirements. It is on the ground floor, is 526 m² and has a PA system, remote control lighting and spotlighting.

Committee Room 1 is our second largest room and can be set up committee or theatre-style and holds 44 to 120.

The Corporate Dining Room is ideal for a smaller seminar or break-out area. A workshop setting holds 60 and 72 theatre-style.

Committee Rooms 2 and 5 are ideal for a boardroom set-up, sitting 24 people or 44 people theatre-style.

Committee Rooms 3 and 4 can be used for a smaller meeting or workshop.  Committee Room 4 holds 12 and Committee Room 3 holds 15. 

The Council Chamber is a tiered amphitheatre.  It has individual desks each with a microphone and voting buttons which can be used for interactive presentations. Each delegate can be filmed as they speak with their image shown on the large screen at the front of the theatre. This room can take up to 108 guests with a gallery for an additional 30 guests - an ideal room for motivational seminars.

The Tower Room is on the 15th floor of the Headquarters building and has magnificent views of the surrounding Lanarkshire area and beyond. It is suitable for a small boardroom meeting or reception area. It is also ideal for local businesses who want to promote their products to South Lanarkshire Council staff.
