HomeFinder
If you want to apply to housing with the council, any of the tenant management co-operatives or housing associations, you only have to complete one application form.
We have joined forces to provide the HomeFinder service.
All HomeFinder landlords will assess your application against the same clear set of criteria. The single form makes it much easier to apply.
The HomeFinder application form is available online. The form can be completed on your computer, saved and then submitted as an attachment to an email. Alternatively it can also be printed out and filled in by hand and returned to any HomeFinder landlord or from any of our Q and A offices, Area Housing offices or community flats. You can also pick up an application from from any of these offices.
If you chose to submit this by email please make sure that you tick the 'accept' box in the declaration if you choose submit your form by email.
There are additional forms if you need to:
- move home on medical grounds
- move home to either receive or give care and support
- tell us about a change in your circumstances
Letting area guides tell you the number of houses in the area and how often they become available, well as details on local amenities and services.
If you don't agree with a decision that any of the HomeFinder landlords have made about your application you can read How to appeal a decision about your housing application form.
If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, you can also view our pages on Homelessness for further information.
If you have just left or are about to leave the armed forces and you want to know more about veterans housing options available to you in South Lanarkshire, you can view our pages for veterans.
