South Lanarkshire Council is required to maintain a record of all payments of allowances and expenses to elected members.
This requirement is made under the Local Government (Allowance and Expenses) (Scotland) Regulations 2007, The Local Government (Allowances and Expenses) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 (SSI 2010/45) and The Local Government (Allowances and Expenses) (Scotland) Amendment (2) Regulations 2010 (SSI 2010/11).
The Council is also required to publish that record not later than 1 June in each year in respect of the previous year.
The record will be available online via our Members of South Lanarkshire Council page from 1 June.
A published record will also be accessible on Friday 1 June at Floor 4, Finance and Corporate Resources, Council Offices, Almada St, Hamilton between the hours of 9.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
