Business advice and support

The business support network in Lanarkshire can help you start your business or find suitable premises here. It can also help you grow your business and develop new markets.

Your first point of contact should be the Business Gateway. They provide impartial advice on business start-up and growth and draw on the council's financial support programmes and property advice service.

If you are looking for a new business location or to expand within the area you can, of course, contact our property advice team directly or use the commercial property enquiry form. You can also find out whether a particular property or piece of land is currently owned by the council, using the Land and property ownership enquiry form.

Listed below and to the right is information on consumer and trading standards, available property, property and land for sale and the current range of financial support programmes.
