Animal welfare

We provide a range of services and advice for farmers, hauliers and manufacturers of animal feed. Our Animal health and welfare officer works closely with Scottish Government Rural Directorate to control the spread of contagious diseases such as Foot and Mouth. The external link to SGRD will open in a new window.

We provide guidance, check farm records and deal with a range of licences related to the movement, breeding and transport of animals.
