Child Protection Committee

The Child Protection Committee is an interagency forum that brings together representatives from each of the main agencies responsible for helping to protect children from abuse and neglect within South Lanarkshire.

It has responsibility for ensuring effective child protection services in the South Lanarkshire area. This means making sure arrangements are in place and are working effectively to bring about good outcomes for children.

The Child Protection Committees - offices for North and South Lanarkshire are located at the same office in Hamilton.
