The misuse of drugs, alcohol and other substances can seriously impact on the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities, therefore the Council, health services and police work together through the Lanarkshire Alcohol and Drug Action Team to help solve these problems.
If you want help with a drugs or alcohol problem, your local social work office can make you an appointment when you call. You can complete an online Social work services appointment request or ask for information about the drop in sessions run by our Substance Misuse teams.
