Street cleaning

Photo:council workers picking up litter

Keeping the streets clean is a major priority for us and we work closely with Keep Scotland Beautiful. Litter squads work seven days a week targeting town centres and main thoroughfares. Keep Scotland Beautiful monitors our cleanliness and South Lanarkshire has consistently achieved scores in the 'excellent' category.

If you have any concerns about street cleaning, graffiti, dumping or grounds maintenance, contact the Land Services helpline.
