Tommy McAvoy MP

Tommy McAvoy was elected as MP for Glasgow Rutherglen in 1987. At the 2005 General Election following boundary changes, he was elected as MP for Rutherglen and Hamilton West. Mr McAvoy has served as a Government Whip since 1997, and has been on the Finance and Services Commons Select Committee since 1997.
