Community Regeneration Partnership

Through this partnership, the Council, Scottish Enterprise, NHS and Government agencies work with community representatives to develop local area initiatives in the most deprived areas of South Lanarkshire.

It has delivered through the Regeneration Outcome Agreement more than 40 programmes which aimed to improve employment opportunities, health, anti-social behaviour, family support, environmental improvement and community facilities. The ROA has now been replaced by the Fairer Scotland Fund.

Delivery is through, Changing Places, a partnership initiative, which works to improve the lives of people in the most deprived areas of South Lanarkshire, through three area based programmes in Blantyre, Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Larkhall and surrounding areas.
