Formerly Better Government for Older People (BGOP), Seniors Together is a network of organisations working to improve society for older people.

We are committed to combating all forms of discrimination and promoting equal opportunities.

South Lanarkshire has 37 community councils as well as numerous community groups organising events and activities.

Our towns have twinning links with towns in France, Germany and Denmark.

We provide citizenship ceremonies and nationality checking as well as promote good citizenship.

We carry out equal opportunities impact assessments on our policies, procedures and services in respect of race, disability and gender.

We are keen to encourage tenants and residents associations so that we can consult them on issues that affect them.

We couldn't do our jobs as comprehensively or as efficiently as we do without the network of volunteers and voluntary organisations that back us up.
