Public processions, marches and demonstrations

Photo:Lanimer procession

If you are organising a public procession, you must give us at least 28 days notice of your intentions. Organisers should complete a Notice of proposal to hold a public procession form (139KB PDF) (this link will open in a new window) and send it to our Cambuslang District Courts, Licensing and Registration Office which handles these applications for the whole of South Lanarkshire.

The list of forthcoming public processions is published on the website or you can look for particular marches using the search on the left. If you wish to object or comment on a proposed procession or its route, please do so in writing using the Public processions - objections and representations form (107KB PDF) (this link will open in a new window).
