Countryside Rangers

The Countryside Ranger Service works with the people of South Lanarkshire and its visitors to increase awareness and enhancement of the area's biodiversity, access networks and the promotion of sustainable and healthy lifestyles.

Countryside Rangers organise countryside events and activities throughout South Lanarkshire helping communities develop projects to improve their local environment, working with schools and groups to deliver environmental education activities, interpreting the natural and cultural heritage and providing advice on planning and outdoor access issues.

They also encourage communities to make use of their local environment.

Please contact the Countryside Rangers for further information.

This service is provided by Community Resources.
