Conservation and heritage

If you live in a conservation area or listed building we can advise you on planning issues and funding. This might include tree preservation or the types of permission you might require for carrying out work.

If you have any enquiries about listed buildings and conservation your local Planning and building standards office listed on the right can assist or you can complete an online Customer services enquiry form.

The Council also has an interest in the archeology of South Lanarkshire, supporting the West of Scotland Archaeology Service.
