As well as being responsible for many of South Lanarkshire's roads and car parks we also promote road safety and have developed a local transport strategy.
Find out where our car parks are, how to get a car park season ticket or a permit for resident's parking and access and how to get a Blue Badge.
As well as reporting faults you can find out about road works and road closures and download application forms for skip permits, road opening or to occupy a road, footway or verge.
Although we don't run any buses or trains, we make sure the area has an adequate transport system and congestion is reduced by encouraging the use of public transport.
We back government road safety initiatives, adapting them for local use and have a range of education programmes for all age groups - from nursery schools to the over 60s.
Keeping the streets clean is a major priority for us and litter squads work seven days a week targeting town centres and main thoroughfares.
