Corporate Resources

Corporate Resources plays a central role within the council by providing all committees with administration and support for its members. In addition, it provides personnel, legal and communications services for all council departments. Corporate Resources also runs the district courts, licensing and registration of births, deaths and marriages.

Our purpose is to improve the area through economic, environmental and development investment. As a landlord, South Lanarkshire Council is the fifth biggest in Scotland, managing 27,000 homes, catering for a variety of housing needs. Housing and Technical Resources is responsible for the maintenance of all Council property and the design and construction for all property-related projects.
