Connect mid term review brochure image

We work hard to improve the quality of life for our citizens. We set out all the things we are aiming to achieve in our Council Plan which was recently updated in Connect 2009 Mid Term Review (570KB PDF) (this document will open in a new window). This sets our priorities and main objectives through to the next council elections which are scheduled for May 2012.

Our council plan Connect reflects our commitment to the Community Plan (Stronger Together) (650KB PDF) (this document will open in a new window) supported by all our community planning partners and the Single Outcome Agreement (this document will open in a new window) signed with the Scottish Government.

Within the council, each of our seven Resources publishes an annual Resource Plan which provides greater detail on what each service has achieved in the previous year and sets out its action plan for the year ahead. Performance in each service is closely monitored throughout the year and progress is reported to the council every six months.

The Council also has a Public performance reporting calendar (174 KB PDF) which signposts to a variety of performance information (this document will open in a new window). You can also find these documents in Related Publications. If you need more information on Performance, please contact the Corporate Improvement Unit.
