Annual Arts Programme 2009 - 2010
An exciting programme of arts development activities for Autumn is now underway. Bookings for all activites can be made now at East Kilbride Arts Centre, Hamilton Town House and Rutherglen Town Hall.
John Findlay provides the live music for our series of Tea dances with a mixture of sequence and ballroom to suit all tastes. Tea and biscuits are included in the ticket price.
East Kilbride Arts Centre presents lunchtime theatre. Lunch, tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches 1pm for 2pm performance. High Tea, tea, coffee, sandwiches and cake 4.30pm for 5pm performance.

Why do animals often have adventures in threes? Kidgloves puppets prsents the classic tale of one hungry wolf and three frightened pigs and several more tales involving three animals.

Oscar the mouse loves adventures, so when a mysterious object lands in the graden shed, he can't help investigating and before long, he is caught up in the one adventure that every child dreams about.

2010 marks the UN's International Year of Biodiversity (IYB), with its aims of increasing awareness, reducing the loss of biodiversity and celebrating success stories. The South Lanarkshire Biodiversity Partnership wish to mark IYB by holding a conference.

Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music
Yes it's been around the World, and now it's coming to the Town House! Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music is a screening of the classic Julie Andrews film , complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along!
