Line and Tea Dance Development

South Lanarkshire Leisure provides line and tea dance classes across South Lanarkshire, from the Tango to the Rumba or a toe-strut to a monteray turn, we have classes to suite all ablilities. All classes are delivered by fully qualified instructors.

Line dancing

Line dancing is fun, it’s easy to do and you don’t need a partner – it’s a fun social activity for all ages and all abilities. Classes are available for all levels of dancer from beginner to improver to intermediate and advanced.

Tea Dance

Tea Dancing Development

Tea Dance classes organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure are held weekly in the Ballerup Hall, Civic Centre, East Kilbride. Instructed and organised by Catherine and Thomas Teirney, the attendees are taught to Waltz, foxtrot, rumba, two step and tango to fabulous music supplied by Thomas.
