South Lanarkshire Schools are invited to enter our festival programme. The festivals are geographically placed throughout the year and the aim of the festivals is to provide a setting that allows young people to develop their skills in a challenging but enjoyable manner.

Within the summer term we host tournaments for schools with a Senior Pupil League, running throughout the year.

Senior League details below:

Coach Education

We provide Teacher Development Opportunities which allows us to work alongside class teachers to help with the challenges involved in delivering the skills, knowledge and tactical awareness within a dynamic team sport.

Participation Centres

  • Nippers Netball is a new initiative that targets P1 – P3 school children. It is a fun activity that will help develop fitness and coordination through playing Netball related games.

  • Mini Netball is a Netball Scotland initiative that targets P4 – P7 school children who are keen to start or continue playing netball.

  • Centres are held at various locations across South Lanarkshire from September to May.

District Netball

netball image

Every year in August/September we host trials via our schools and clubs to select our top U15 and U17 netballers. The netballers will then take part in a District programme that will allow them to compete against all other Scottish Districts. This also provides a stage for our netballers to be seen by Scottish selectors and hopefully represent Scotland at U17/U21 and Senior Level.

Recreational Netball

If you are 16+ we offer netball in a less competitive environment. It is an alternative way to keep fit. Recreational Netball is provided in East Kilbride and Biggar from September to June.
