SL Lifestyles-Lanark opens
South Lanarkshire Lifestyles-Lanark opened its doors on the 18th January 2010 amid great expectations from the local community. The new Centre, which is in a new location behind the railway station, has been well received by almost everyone who has so far visited and who have commented on its open plan layout, ease of use and standard of finish, which demonstrates South Lanarkshire Council's commitment to quality community facilities and healthy lifestyles.

Scottish Schools Swimming Championships 2010
44 young swimmers from 11-17 years of age took part in the Scottish Schools Swimming Championships at Tollcross recently. This was an increase of 6 on last year and they came home with a 13 medal haul comprising 5 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.

Scottish Schools Swimming Finals
The annual Scottish Schools Swimming Championship Finals are taking place at Tollcross Leisure Centre on Saturday 31st January 2009. Swimmers from the most northerly parts of Scotland down to the Borders will be converging on the pool which is the swimming site of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
