45 SL Swimmers qualify for Scottish School’s Swimming Finals

The annual Scottish Schools Swimming Championship Finals are taking place at Tollcross Leisure Centre on Saturday 31st January 2009. Swimmers from the most northerly parts of Scotland down to the Borders will be converging on the pool which is the swimming site of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

45 swimmers from both primary and secondary schools across south Lanarkshire have qualified through the regional heats which were held at Larkhall leisure Centre on Nov 12th 2008. The South Lanarkshire heats produced some outstanding swimming and were once again accredited to level 2 standard which allows swimmers and clubs to use the times for entry to other national competitions.

Session 1 - Warm up 08.00 Start 09.00
Session 2 - Warm up 12.15 Start 13.15
Session 3 - Warm up 16.30 Start 17.30
