Lanarkshire business excellence award winners 2017

Lanarkshire’s business community is alive and well as the region’s top performing organisations are revealed.

Following months of anticipation, the winners have now been announced for the 24th Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards 2017.

More than 450 guests attended the prestigious awards night which was hosted by Kaye Adams with the guests also entertained by Saltire Beat and Jonathan Watson.

The event hosted by North and South Lanarkshire Council, also raised more than £6000 for two charities Kidney Kids and Beatson Cancer Care.

Councillor Chris Thompson, the chair of South Lanarkshire Council’s Enterprise Services Committee, said: “The standard of entries this year was extremely high and each of the finalists would have been worthy winners. This is testament to the wealth of successful businesses in Lanarkshire we help to start up, grow and diversify. Well done to all involved and particular congratulations to all 11 of tonight’s winners.”

And Councillor Allan Graham, the Convener of Regeneration at North Lanarkshire Council, added: "Lanarkshire businesses are vital to our local economy and these awards shine a light on their hardwork and achievements. It has been an honour to be part of these celebrations so I don't envy the task the judges had in selecting the winners of each category.
