Local people are being urged to give their views on plans to regenerate Hamilton Town Centre.
The draft Hamilton Town Centre Strategy and Action Plan is available online until Friday 15 June.
Councillor John Ross, the Leader of South Lanarkshire Council, said: “The strategy and action plan has been designed to help improve the town centre. It has been arranged in three main headings – potential development opportunities, car parking, transportation and access, and events promotion and initiatives.
“There are significant opportunities within each of these three areas but we really want to hear from people who are using the town centre. I would ask everyone who uses the town centre to take part – it’s extremely important that we hear from as many people as possible.
“We will look to use this model as a basis for other town centres moving forward, in particular Blantyre, Cambuslang and Larkhall.”
